 
The Bethlehem Center of Charlotte Head Start Program is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year. All interested parents who live in Mecklenburg County are encouraged to register their children ages 3 and 4 that were born between September 1, 2004 and August 31, 2006 (Children are also age eligible to participate anytime after their third birthday) Children who will turn four years old on or before August 31, 2009 will receive priority for Head Start Partnership placements.
Ninety percent (90%) of families served by The Bethlehem Center of Charlotte Head Start Program must qualify based upon the 2009 federal income guidelines.
The program also serves a limited number of children with disabilities without regards to the family income.
